Friendly and attentive staff on hand.I had the seared Salmon followed bt crime brûlée, delicious and without being over faced. Sometimes people idea of good value is a plate piled high....no it's about what you get being good quality, well cooked and enjoyable which this was.Critique, wine was just a touch on the expensive side for a 175ml but it was easygoing.

(June 30, 2018, 3:05 am)As with the rest of the hotel the restaurant is in serious need of modernisation - dowdy old decoration and the an atmosphere like a morgue.The food was overpriced and poor quality. My partner had lamb that was so over cooked it was no longer recognisable as lamb, the waiter did take it back and it was replaced by some less over cooked lamb however it was still poor quality compared to the excellent local Scottish lamb we had experienced else where.
