Dropped in on the way back to our holiday cottage and we were starving. One Bog Myrtle full breakfast and one stack of pancakes with a pot of tea later and we were hooked! Owners are chatty and friendly. Place has a mad but loveable layout with second hand books, vintage clothes and daft old furniture with mismatched old crockery. Loved it!!
Mor Books is a wonderful serendipitous find, tucked away in a corner of Skye. It is a light and lovely place, with stunning view, a trove of old books and remarkably good food. The breads and soups were delicious. But the highlight of our visit was meeting the owners. Warm and funny, they lit up the day.
I wanted a cozy used book store with a coffee shop and this was perfect. They had some books by mystery authors I love. My son found a huge geology section. The coffee was great. The cake was a bit dry but normal for the UK and the service was friendly and helpful. They are under new ownership and the owner was delightful and knowledgeable.
Just popped in with some books. Shaun is so very friendly, and aninteresting young Skye man. The place was clean, and warm.I could have stayed all day and had a good browse through the plentiful Books.May you have many Blessings, Rainbows and Sunshine.
