Once again, super service and the most delicious food. The chowder was beautiful as was the lamb cutlet starter. Lobster Thermidor was super. Really, this is a hidden gem. We will definitely be back. Cannot recommend highly enough. Up there with the Star on the Harbour.
Wanted to visit for a while and went on date night. I had the salmon and my husband had the steak. My husband said his steak was ok but unfortunately the salmon was just hot enough to eat. The menu for the evening is very disappointing. May have to try in the day but I won’t be in a rush to go back.
My wife and I found this by accident and what a find we both had a sandwich that came with salad and big mistake ordered a portion of chips it was to much. The restaurant its self is very interesting so much to look at with the church organ andpipes and reasonable prices
Our second visit here, previously ate off the day time menu, thus time used the evening menu. Brilliant food that was more filling thanI thought it would be on first sight. Pleasant staff. The provision of a toilet key to each table is an improvement. Got to see a random person off the street angry as they couldn't just breeze in off the street and use a restaurants toilets as they were locked, great fun.
What a gem to find to eat, amazing food and service. Got to say was best meal we had in Whitby and we did eat and lovely food in many places. Thank you to all staff and specially Jack who mad our evening.
Stand out dishes were the seafood chowder and the fabulous halibut special. The setting of the museum and the friendly helpful staff made it a wonderful night. We will certainly be returning here. If
Everything was delicious, the large flaky cod was amazing and of the desserts the sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch sauce was heavenly. My husband requested an Irish coffee and even though it wasn’t
Found this venue by chance in Whitby .Greeted by lovely friendly staff great menu to choose from ordered the home made burger with Caesar salad side my partner had the seafood chowder.Very quick service
Lovely sticky toffee pudding and had crab omelette. Dog friendly. Will definitely recommend and be going back soon
Crab sandwich was excellent value. Nice experience and dog friendly as are most places in Whitby.
Had dinner plans so just wanted a crab sandwich for lunch. I saw this on the menu so we went in. This was our first visit but it definately will not be our last. What a transformation! Had a few oysters
The best seafood chowder with homemade soda bread, sirloin steaks, variety of fries and salad sides. Daughter had delicious King prawn Linguine and son lovely homemade fish goujons. All followed off
All followed off with Sticky toffee pudding and gooey chocolate fondants! We are all fit to burst! A great addition to Whitby.
